Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. To honor our professionals' time and accommodate other guests, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations/Rescheduling (24+ hours notice): No fee.

  • Cancellations/Rescheduling (<24 hours notice): $40 fee per appointment.

  • Same Day Rescheduling (>2 hours notice): 50% charge of total services booked.

  • Same Day Cancellations (<2 hours notice): Full charge of scheduled services.

When rescheduling services within 14 days of the original cancellation date, you may be eligible for 50% of the fee to be credited towards a future service.

Weather Considerations

During inclement weather, we proactively communicate with guests. Please contact us if you have concerns about arriving safely.

Product Returns

Products purchased from August Moon Spa can be returned within 14 days if unopened and unused, with a receipt. Returns will be credited towards alternative products or spa services. Sale items and gift certificates are final and non-refundable.

Planning Your Visit

  • Group Experiences: We can curate a spa day based on your preferred services. Please contact our reception desk for personalized packages.

  • Gift Certificates: Available in any amount through our reception desk or online store.

  • Social Distancing: To ensure a comfortable experience, we maintain space between guests. Please arrive no more than 30 minutes before and stay no more than 30 minutes after your appointment.

  • Age Restrictions: Guests must be 14 or older to use the locker rooms, tranquility rooms, and treatment rooms. A release form is required for guests aged 14–17, signed by a parent or guardian.

During Your Visit

  • Arrival: You’ll be provided with a robe, sandals, and a locker. We recommend leaving valuables at home or in your vehicle.

  • Dress Code: All treatments offer privacy and appropriate coverage with sheets or towels.

Medical & Personal Considerations

  • Medical Conditions: Inform us of any medical conditions when booking. Our professionals may modify or refuse services based on contraindications.

  • Pregnancy: We offer customized services for expecting guests.

  • Eating & Drinking: Eat light before your services and stay hydrated. Outside food and beverages are not allowed, but snacks and drinks can be purchased at the spa.

Inclusivity

  • Gender Policy: Guests may choose locker rooms based on their identified gender.

Waxing Services

  • Preparation: Hair should be at least half an inch long. Avoid certain skincare products before your appointment. For first-time waxing, consider taking ibuprofen and exfoliating gently.
