Clarity & Blemish Care

Build consistency without being hard on your skin.

Breakouts can make it tempting to cleanse more often, scrub more firmly, or try several new products at once. Those changes can leave your skin irritated and make it harder to understand what is helping.

A thoughtful routine begins with gentle care and realistic expectations. Your skin doesn’t need to feel stripped or squeaky clean to be clean.

Give Your Routine Time

Choose products labeled non-comedogenic, meaning they are formulated not to clog pores. Moisturizer can still belong in a routine for oily or blemish-prone skin.

Avoid picking or squeezing blemishes, which can increase the chance of scarring and lingering dark marks.

If you already use prescription acne treatment, let your esthetician know before introducing exfoliating products or scheduling a facial.

A Simple Daily Routine

Cleanse gently. Wash with your fingertips morning and evening, and after sweating.

Follow your treatment plan. Use acne medications as directed rather than layering on additional treatments.

Moisturize. Choose a moisturizer suited to your skin.

Protect. Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, following its directions.

Keep the routine consistent. Frequent product changes can create more irritation without giving you a clear picture of the results.

Products to Consider

August Moon Lavender Face Scrub

An optional exfoliation step for skin that tolerates a physical scrub. Ask your esthetician whether it belongs in your routine and how often to use it. Avoid scrubbing active, inflamed, or irritated blemishes.

Circadia Cleansing Gel with Mandelic Acid

An alternative exfoliating option to discuss with your esthetician. It should be considered alongside your existing products and any acne treatment you use; there is no need to combine multiple exfoliants.
