Cancellation & Return Policy

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with LESS THAN 24 hours’ notice including appointments for the following day will incur a $40 fee per appointment booked. Appointments looking to reschedule their services for an alternative date may be eligible for 50% of their cancellation fee to be credited towards their next service provided the service is booked within 14 days of the original cancellation date.

Appointments looking to cancel or reschedule a same day service with more than two hours notice will incur a charge of 50% of the total services booked. Cancelled appointments that are rescheduled within 14 days can be credited half of the cancellation charges towards a future visit.

Appointments cancelled with less than a two hour notice prior to the beginning of the appointment time will incur a full charge of the services scheduled and are not eligible for a credit towards rescheduling.

We understand that the weather is sometimes unpredictable here in Upstate New York during the winter season. We do our best to keep an eye on storms as they come through and reach out to you as our guests to make sure you are still able to make it in. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us as well if you have concerns around being able to arrive safely for your appointment.

Products purchased through August Moon Spa may be returned within 14 days of purchase provided they are unopened and unused and have a physical or digital receipt. Returned products will receive credit towards alterniative products or spa services only. All sale items and gift certificates are final purchase.

We have reopened for all treatments at August Moon. 

We recommend that you plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled service, and stay 30 minutes after. This will allow you time to relax in our tranquillity rooms, and fully enjoy the relaxation that a spa day allows!  

Our facilities have fully reopened, so you are welcome to use the steam room, sauna and showers before or after your appointment. You can also relax in our tranquility rooms where you can enjoy complimentary tea, take a nap, or browse our wonderful collection of books.

Wine can now be ordered by the glass or the bottle through our reception desk. If you know that you would like wine ready for you upon arrival, please email or call with advance notice.

Made to order food through our bistro is no longer available in the spa, and we do not allow outside food and beverages. We do however offer regionally sourced snacks and beverages for purchase at our reception desk in addition to complimentary water and tea.

We no longer require guests, or employees to wear masks while in the spa. If you would like to request your professional remain masked during your treatment, please let us know in advance to ensure they can provide the most comforting service possible!

We continue to run HEPA filters in all treatment rooms, locker rooms and tranquility rooms. We also schedule additional time for professionals to deep clean their treatment rooms and for those filters to clear the room before the next appointment.

Please understand that as Covid-19 develops, all policies are subject to change prior to the day of your services. If you are unsure what our current policies are, feel free to reach out by phone or email the morning of your services, and we can let you know if any changes have been made.
